On Saturday, Sept. 28, Dawn Flanagan told officers her car was stolen, Franklin police said in a release. Two-Month-Old Dies In Elizabeth: Authorities A two-month-old infant died in Elizabeth on Monday, Oct. 21, authorities said. Police responded to a report of an unresponsive infant at Pingry Place, a spokeswoman for the city said. Both parents were working, and their eldest child was watching his younger siblings, including the infant, when the infant had a medical emergency, authorities said. The infant was pronounced dead at Trinitas Hospital, authorities said. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency was notified, authorities said. 14-Year-Old Charged In Fatal Jersey City Shooting: Prosecutor A 14-year-old Jersey City boy was arrested and charged as a juvenile with murder on Monday, Oct. 21, in connection with a shooting that killed a 19-year-old on Friday, Oct. 11. At 5 p.m., Jersey City police responded to shots fired in Garfield Avenue and found Kashyne Grant suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment, where he was pronounced dead just after 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. The 14-year-old was charged with murder and multiple weapons offenses, Suarez said.
