The assault occurred at a home on Uffers Road in Coopersburg and was reported earlier this year, authorities said. After conducting an investigation starting on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2024, Pennsylvania State Police closed the case and filed charges against the sibling. The fraudsters convinced the senior to transfer large sums of money under false pretenses. No suspects have been identified in the ongoing investigation, PSP Bethlehem Patrol Unit said. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them.
