Overturned Crane Truck Shuts Manassas Intersection An overturned crane truck has closed a Manassas intersection Thursday morning, Oct. 19. Sudley Road near Gum Springs Road was closed in both directions indefinitely as of 9:30 a.m., police said. Have photos? Email clevine@dailyvoice.com No injuries have been reported. Armed Burglar Arrested After Barricading Himself In Arlington Home: Police A 43-year-old man was arrested after an armed burglary and then barricading himself inside of his own Arlington home overnight Thursday, Oct. 19, authorities said. Jermaine Chambers, 43, has been charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding, Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault and Assault & Battery (x2). He is being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Facility. Chambers broke into a home on the 4200 block of 2nd Road N. around 12:20 a.m., armed with a knife, Arlington officials said. Driver Was Going 100MPH+ Before Triple Fatal Jersey City Crash: Prosecutor A 23-year-old driver was going more than 100 mph in a crash that left three people dead earlier this week in Jersey City, authorities said. Ziyang Wang, of Jersey City, was behind the wheel of a BMW X5 M0i that struck a Kia Amanti driven by 26-year-old Dylan Weidenfeld head-on, on Paterson Plank Road around 12:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16.
