Hudson Valley 13-Year-Old Sent Home After 'Stunning' Performance On 'The Voice' Stunning wasn't good enough for judges on NBC's "The Voice." Motorcyclist, 36, Seriously Injured In Route 80 Crash A 36-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Route 80. The Hopatcong man was heading west when he struck the back of a Honda SUV on his Harley Davidson near milepost 50.2 in Fairfield, around 9:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. The motorcycle overturned, throwing the driver from the bike. He was taken to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.

Marriott Murder: Man Killed Inside Fairfax County Hotel Police were investigating the shooting death of a man at a Fairfax County Marriott hotel over the weekend. Officers were called to the 3100 block of Fairview Park Drive around 12:40 a.m., where the man was found suffering gunshot wounds to the upper body, county police said. According to NBC Washington, it happened at the Falls Church Marriott in Fairview Park. The man was hospitalized and pronounced dead, police said. Two suspects were in custody. 17-Year-Old Boy Fatally Run Over By 2 Cars In Maryland Town A 17-year-old boy was fatally struck by two cars in Howard County this weekend, police said. The boy was in the roadway when he was struck by a 2022 Hyundai Tucscon heading west on Gorman Road near Murray Hill Road, around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19 in Laurel, county police said. The boy was then struck a second time by a 2018 Honda Civic that was traveling behind the Hyundai. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles were uninjured and remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Air Conditioner Blocks Firefighters From Rescuing Victim In Sussex County Blaze Firefighters had no choice but to brave the flames and smoke ravaging a Sussex County home in order to rescue a victim this weekend. The blaze in the Lake Lackawanna section of Byram Township was one of two for firefighters on Saturday, Nov. 18. This one broke out around 3:51 a.m., the local fire department said. While firefighters initially tried to rescue the trapped occupant with a ladder on the second floor through a window, a police officer pointed out that an air condition blocked access. Photos Show Overturned, Wrecked Car In Perplexing Cherry Hill Crash The Cherry Hill Fire Department is sharing photos of a vehicle that a driver miraculously self-extricated from in an overnight wreck. It happened around 1:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, between Church and Woods roads on Route 38 west, leaving the hood banged up and the roof caved in. The windshield was completely smashed, yet somehow still in-tact. Firefighters said the driver self-extricated before they arrived on scene. The driver's condition wasn't immediately clear, and further details in the crash were not provided.

Sidewalk Driver Leaves Trail Of Destruction On Reckless Rampage Through NJ Town: Cops A 30-year-old driver who's got the middle finger tattooed on his forehead assaulted 15 people including police officers and tried breaking into six homes during a rampage through a New Jersey town this week, authorities said.
