20-Year-Old DWI Driver Struck Tree: Mount Olive PD A 20-year-old Flanders woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after she crashed into a tree on Sunday, June 1, in Mount Olive, authorities said. At 3:44 a.m., officers responded to Whispering Woods Drive after Katie Bowers' gray Toyota struck a tree, Mount Olive police said. As officers spoke with Bowers, they detected the odor of an alcohol and noted she appeared to be impaired, police said. Bowers was arrested following field sobriety testing and charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving, police said.
