North Salem Invites Residents To Swearing In Ceremony
NORTH SALEM, N.Y. — All are invited to an Oath of Office and Swearing in Ceremony on Saturday, at the new courthouse in North Salem. The newly-elected North Salem officials will take their oath, along with District 2 County Legislator Francis Corcoran. Report: Saddle River Police Lieutenant, Borough Move To Settle Lawsuit
SADDLE RIVER, N.J. — An attorney for a Saddle River police lieutenant and his wife confirmed that a settlement with the borough is in the works, Northjersey.com reports. Saddle River Police Lt. John Gaffney, 49, filed a lawsuit in 2014 contending that he was passed over for a promotion to captain over politics. The 25-year veteran later said it was due to age discrimination.
