Yorkipoo Goes Missing In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. - A yorkipoo has gone missing in Yonkers and his owner is seeking the public’s help in finding him. Rocky, a Yorkshire terrier-poodle mix, slipped his leash near Waverly Street in the city Saturday night. The black and tan pooch weighs about 11 pounds. His owner, Mariposa Rodriguez, posted a plea on the website, Lost Pets of Westchester County, in the hopes of finding him. Anyone spotting Rocky is asked to call (914)-625-2924..

Driver Plows Into Ardsley Storefront, Narrowly Missing Packed Bagel Shop ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- A car plowed into an empty dry cleaner’s at an Ardsley strip mall Sunday morning, narrowing missing a bagel shop packed with people having breakfast next door, according to multiple reports. The dry cleaner’s front desk was destroyed and clothes and debris were scattered everywhere, lohud.com reported. Ramapo Police Investigate Car Crash With Injuries, Police Say RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police investigated an accident that resulted in injuries Sunday. The crash occurred on Ralph Boulevard in the hamlet of Monsey. No further details were available Monday. Three other car crashes that day were property-damage only, police said. They happened in Monsey, the hamlet of Hillcrest and the village of Pomona, police said. Police also responded Sunday to 120 calls for service, including: eight medical emergencies, 14 alarm activations, six fires, and one arrest for a bench warrant.

Ramapo Police Save Life Of Overdose Victim RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police were able to revive the victim of an apparent overdose last week by using the lifesaving medication Narcan. Police were called to a residence in the village of Chestnut Ridge Friday to aid someone who had had collapsed. When they got there, they found a man who was not breathing but who had a pulse. They determined that he was not having a heart attack but had overdosed on heroin. After officers administered Narcan and gave the man oxygen, he began breathing on his own.
