Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing 13-Year-Old Girl At Camp In Dover
DOVER, N.Y. -- A Pennsylvania man has been charged with molesting a 13-year-old girl at a Seventh-Day Adventist camp and conference center in Dover, state police said.
Henry A. Fernandez, 50, of Allentown, was arrested on Wednesday, July 20, and charged with second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, police said.
Police said the alleged incident took place two days before at Camp Berkshire, a former country club in the hamlet of Wingdale.
Fernandez was sent to the Dutchess County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

Greenburgh Supervisor Backs Pedestrian Bridge For Rail Trail Project
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Greenburgh residents are thrilled the gap in a 14-mile-long rail trail finally will be closed, said town Supervisor Paul Feiner.
However, one of them has suggested that, in an addition to the $3 million project, a pedestrian bridge or tunnel be built to carry bicyclists and walkers safely over Route 119. Also known as Old Tarrytown Road, the busy, four-lane roadway links White Plains and Tarrytown with the Village of Elmsford, which is in the Town of Greenburgh.

Stony Point Releases Roadwork Schedule
STONY POINT, N.Y. -- The Stony Point Highway Department has released its schedule of road projects.
On Monday, Aug. 1, through Friday, Aug. 5, road crews will be milling and paving Hastings Lane from Route 9W to Walter Drive, Gurnee Drive, and Old Jay Street from West Main Street to Ten Eyck Street.
