Yonkers Residents Report Wolf Sightings YONKERS, N.Y. – Some Yonkers residents say they have heard and seen wolves around the area, reports News 12 Hudson Valley. Roger & Lenny Perform At Elmendorph In Red Hook RED HOOK, N.Y. – Join the Red Hook Public Library on Friday at the Elmendorph Inn for a concert by Roger & Lenny at 7:30 p.m. Local songsters Roger & Lenny are returning for their third concert for Red Hook Public Library. The duo features sets of favorite tunes from artists such as the Everly Brothers, Simon and Garfunkel and the Beatles, peppered with a few surprises and some original pieces. Hot cider and sweets will be served. Doors open at 7 p.m. This program is free and open to the public. The Elmendorph Inn is at 7592 N Broadway, Red Hook.

Croton Falls FD Ladies Auxiliary Holding Penny Social NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – The Croton Falls Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is holding a penny social Saturday, Nov. 14. at 5 p.m., at the new Croton Falls firehouse. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the drawing will begin at approximately 7 p.m. Tickets are only a penny per ticket or 25 cents per sheet. A 50/50 drawing will also be held, in addition to a sweepstakes table, door prizes and refreshments. The new Croton Falls firehouse is at 1 Sun Valley Drive, North Salem.

Red Flag Fire Conditions Reported In Fairfield FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Fairfield County is near red flag conditions for the threat of wildfires spreading Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The combination of low relative humidity, gusty north winds and low fuel moisture, in addition to falling leaves and dry, dead plants, lead to favorable conditions for a wildfire to spread should a fire ignite.

Darien Spa Owner Pleads Guilty To Filing False Tax Returns DARIEN, Conn. – Darien spa owner Nusrat Rizvi waived his right to indictment and pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of filing a false tax return, according to the office of Deirdre Daly, U.S District Attorney for Connecticut. Rizvi, 75, owner of Lanphier Day Spa Inc., admitted to failing to report $144,776 of income from 2008-10 and depositing the cash into his personal bank accounts. Sentencing was scheduled for Jan.14, 2016, at which time Rizvi faces a maximum term of imprisonment of three years and a fine of up to $250,000.
