Bergen County Academies Welcomes Alumnus Greg Freisinger HACKENSACK, N.J. – Bergen County Academies alumnus Greg Freisinger, a Bronze Star recipient and West Point professor, will address its Academy for the Engineering and Design Technology students Wednesday. Freisinger was the first to receive the Davies Fellowship Award in the mechanical engineering department of the United States Military Academy, where he teaches and performs biomechanical research with the Army Research Lab, according to the Pat Tillman Foundation.

Cornelius 'Neil' Wiseman, 86, Formerly Of Fair Lawn FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Cornelius “Neil” Wiseman, of Whiting and formerly of Fair Lawn, died Monday, March 14. He was 86. Born in Paterson, he resided in Fair Lawn for many years before moving to Whiting. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid New York Giants football fan. Prior to retiring, he was employed with the U.S. Postal Service, South Hackensack Annex, for 30 years. She was a graduate of William Paterson University, where she received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. Before retiring, she was a teacher at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne for 35 years. The chefs enjoyed various homemade dishes including Parisi deviled eggs, savory fig tart and Senegalese peanut soup at the Monday, March 14 event. The next meeting will be held Monday, April 11.
