Manny Weldler Park Neighbors Sue Ramapo For Selling Vacant Lot MONSEY, N.Y. – Neighbors of the Manny Weldler Town Park in Monsey are suing the town of Ramapo for selling what the residents say is a piece of the park that belongs to the town, reports lohud.com Town Attorney Michael Klein said the land – at 24 Grosser Lane – was never part of the park, despite the fact that paved walkways on the 5.64 acres are connected to the park, according to the article. Work On I-95 Will Result In Delays, Closures The New York Thruway Authority’s various maintenance activities on I-95 (New England Thruway) are set to begin Tuesday at 10 a.m. in New Rochelle. Starting on Tuesday at 10 a.m., the southbound exit 16 (North Avenue/Cedar Street) on ramp will be closed for the duration of the winter season to accommodate repairs. Brewster HS Career Skills Class Sells Hot Cocoa Ornaments BREWSTER, N.Y. – The Brewster High School Career Skills class is selling hot cocoa ornaments through Wednesday. Each ornament is $3. The ornaments include hot cocoa mix, mini-marshmallows, sprinkles, crushed candy canes and mini-chocolate chips in a clear ornament with a choice of green, red, blue or multicolor ribbon. Robert Marxreiter, 52, Of Lewisboro LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Robert Marxreiter, 52, of Lewisboro, died Saturday, Dec. 5. He was born Dec. 11, 1962, in Sleepy Hollow, to Max and Alice Leach Marxreiter of Briarcliff Manor. He was a lifelong resident of the Westchester County area.
