Home Invasion: CT Man Slashed By 2 Armed Intruders, Police Say Police in Connecticut are searching for two men who allegedly forced their way into a home and attacked the homeowner with a knife. The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:45 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6 on Woodlawn Avenue in Ansonia. According to Lt. Car Crashes Into CT Apartment Complex Damaging Structure A car crashed into a Connecticut apartment building after the driver failed to make a turn and drove straight into the complex, according to police. The incident took place in New Haven County around 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13 in Wallingford at 327 South Elm St. According to Lt. Contractor Accused Of Ripping Off $10K From Homeowner In Region A 21-year-old contractor from the Capital Region has been charged with allegedly ripping off a homeowner of a $10,000 deposit after he failed to perform work on the victim's home. Saratoga County resident Michael T. Maralett, of Greenfield, was charged with grand larceny and traffic violation on Thursday, Feb. 1, said Trooper Stepanie O'Neil of the New York State Police. 52-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Train In Region A 52-year-old man from the Capital Region was struck and killed by a train. The Schoharie County incident happened around 2 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 11, in the area of Everett Street in Cobleskill.
