Hit-Run Crash: Man Seriously Injured In Danbury A man was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Danbury around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3 in the area of 9A Clapboard Ridge Road. When officers arrived, they found the man in the roadway with serious injuries, said Erin Henry, spokesperson for the Danbury Police Department. The victim has not yet been identified by police. Pipe Bomb Located On CT Riverbed A pipe bomb was discovered in a Connecticut riverbed by a person using a metal detector along the shoreline.  The incident took place in New Haven County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 2 in the area of Red Bridge at the intersection of Oregon Road and River Road in Meriden. ID Released For Woman Who Died After Jumping From Bridge In Hudson Valley A woman who jumped to her death from a Hudson Valley bridge has been identified by police. Dutchess County resident Dawn Stackhouse, age 52, of Beekman, jumped from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge in Rhinebeck, on Monday, April 1. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, an investigation determined Stackhouse jumped from the bridge around 9:50 a.m. Good Samaritans fishing near the bridge removed her from the water and attempted life-saving measures, Hicks said. She was transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced dead. This investigation remains ongoing.…

State Police Asking Public For Help Finding Hudson Valley Man The New York State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Hudson Valley man who hasn't been since Sunday, March 24. Nicolas Faust, age 43, formerly of Ulster County in Marlborough, and Westchester County in Peekskill, was reported missing by his family, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. Faust was last seen by friends in the Mill Street area of Poughkeepsie on Sunday, March 24 around 2 a.m. He is described as being 5-foot-9, 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
