Local Musician ID'd As Victim In Fatal House Fire A small town had its first fatal fire in 20 years on Wednesday after a person died in a home that did not have smoke alarms. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, around 10:20 p.m., firefighters were called to a fire at 31 Glen St., in Douglas. When they arrived they saw a fire blazing in the back part of the house. There was one person in the home, Keith Bemis, 62, at the time of the fire and he died, firefighters said.
