New Castle Fire District No. 1 Seeks OK For $15.3M Firehouse Expansion NEW CASTLE, N.Y. – Leaders of New Castle Fire District No. 1 are asking residents for a $215 annual tax increase that will fund an expansion of the King Street Firehouse in Chappaqua, according to The Examiner. Norwalk Police Seek Information In 1995 Shooting Death Cold Case NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk police detectives are using social media to bring an unsolved, 21-year-old cold case back into the public eye. Charles “Panama” Bowden was shot to death near Building 1 on Carlton Court (133 Monterey Place) about 2:45 a.m. April 29, 1995, according to the Norwalk Police Department.
