Pet Owners in Ossining, Mahopac Search For Lost Animals
Pet owners and members of the Lost PETS of Westchester Facebook community were looking out Friday, Feb. 5, for a pair of lost animals, one from Ossining and another from Mahopac.In Ossining, pet owners were searching for Suki, a black cat last seen Monday at Briarcliff Woods on Ogden Road.
Suki, a black cat with white markings on her upper chest and belly, was said to be friendly and willing to approach most anyone.
Anyone who may find Suki is urged to call 917-459-9652.

Stamford Exec Charged With Netting $132K From Insider Trading
STAMFORD, Conn. – A vice president at Stamford-based Harman International Industries is accused of running an insider trading scheme that netted him nearly $132,000, according to U.S. Attorney for Connecticut Deirdre Daly.
Dennis W. Hamilton, 45, of Norwalk, was arrested Friday, Feb. 5, and charged with insider trading, Daly said.
Hamilton was told in 2009 that he was legally allowed to purchase stock in the company during certain periods of time, according to Daly.

White Plains OKs $275 Million Housing Development
WHITE PLAINS -- A $275 million development featuring two, 24-story residential towers is expected to bring up to 1,400 new residents to the city, according to lohud.com.
The development, set to replace the Westchester Pavilion mall, was unanimously approved by the city's Common Council this week, according to lohud.com.
The plan calls for the mixed-use development to include 707 rental apartments, 16,500 square feet of restaurant space, 77,340 square feet of retail space and 93,840 square feet of commercial space, according to lohud.com.

Police Say Suffern Officer Violated Order Of Protection
SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A Suffern police officer out on injury leave has been accused of violating an order of protection, according to News 12 Westchester.Lance Weinstein, an officer with more than 20 years of experience, was arrested early Thursday, Feb, 4, after he was accused of violating an order of protection that prohibited him from contact with his ex-wife, according to News 12.
Weinstein, who has been on out injury since 2014, is to answer to the charge on Feb. 16.

Ramapo Police Seize Marijuana, Charge Driver
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Police on Wednesday, Feb.3, seized about 6 ounces of marijuana from a vehicle pulled over in Hillcrest, authorities said.The driver of the car, whose name was not released, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, police said.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m, when an officer pulled the vehicle over for an "equipment violation," police said.
When the officer approached the car, he smelled marijuana and conducted a search, eventually uncovering the drugs, police said.
Clarkstown Selects New Schools Superintendent
CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- An upstate superintendent of schools has been tapped to lead the Clarkstown Central School District at an annual salary of $235,000, according to lohud.com.
Martin D. Cox, who is leaving the Sodus school district in Wayne County, has signed a four-year contract to lead Clarkstown. His salary in Wayne County was $139,500, according to lohud.com
Cox replaces J. Thomas Morton, whose contract expires this year. Cox is to start his new role on July 1, according to lohud.com.
Clarkstown has 8,400 students served by 16 buildings, according to lohud.com
