Hot-Air Balloons To Take To The Sky During Hudson Valley Festival
DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is to host its annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival from July 8-10, according to the Chamber.About 125 balloon launches will occur during the weekend event at Barton Orchards, 63 Apple Tree Lane in Poughquag. Two additional balloons will be on hand for Friday and Saturday nights at Migliorelli Farm, 245 Guski Road, Red Hook, according to the Chamber.

NORWALK, Conn. – A women was fighting for her life Monday evening after being shot six times by her former fiancée, a former Bridgeport police detective, authorities told News 12.
