Suffern HS Coach Joe Biddy To Be Inducted Into Armory Coaches Hall Of Fame SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Suffern Senior High School coach Joe Biddy will be inducted into the Armory Coaches Hall of Fame during the AT&T Hall of Fame Invitational on Dec. 19. Biddy has been the head coach for boys cross country at Suffern since 1969, head boys indoor track coach since 1973 and head girls indoor track coach since 1978. With 624 dual meets and 105 invitationals won, Biddy has led his boys cross country teams to victory more than any other coach in state history. Stamford's New Covenant Center’s Harvest Table Sets Fundraising Record STAMFORD, Conn. -- New Covenant Center's 5th annual Harvest Table Fundraiser set a new record for money raised. More than 260 people attended the sold-out event to check out marketplace vendor demonstrations, bid on silent auction items, listen to guest speakers from Blake Hill Preserves and win raffle prizes. All proceeds will support New Covenant Center meals, food pantry and human services programs. The fundraiser took place Nov. 8 at The Italian Center.

Breakfast With Santa Returns To Towne Crier Cafe BEACON, N.Y, -- Towne Crier Cafe in Beacon will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 5. Tinsel, Little Santa and Elf Bob will distribute craft ornaments for kids to work on while they enjoy a buffet breakfast and Christmast coloring books. Santa will visit each table to speak with children and hand out candy canes while parents take photos. Breakfast is $15 for adults and $10 for children. Scholarship Winner From Redding Joins 'Sing, O Ye Heavens' Concert SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The Westfair Singers will present "Sing, O Ye Heavens" at South Salem Presbyterian Church in South Salem on Dec. 5. The women's choral ensemble will perform music by Beethoven, Handel and Porpora as well as traditional Christmas carols under the direction of Mary Jane Newman. Honorees of Westfair's inaugural Judith Hahnssen-Schwab Founder’s Scholarship Competition will be featured as guest vocalists during the concert. Ardsley High Wins Morgan Stanley Youth Business Competition ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- Ardsley High School won the top prize at Morgan Stanley's African-American Men of Westchester's Youth Business Skills Case Study Competition. Yonkers Montessori Academy and Saunders Trades and Technical School won second and third place, respectively. The competition featured approximately 150 area high school juniors and seniors coming together to hone their business analytical and problem solving skills. It took place at Morgan Stanley's Purchase campus on Nov. 13.
