Stamford Symphony Presents Cellist Julie Albers STAMFORD, Conn. – The Stamford Symphony will present a program of reflections with cellist Julie Albers Saturday, April 16 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at the Palace Theatre. Albers will perform Edward Elgar’s “Cello Concerto in E minor,” Golijov’s “Sidereus” and Dvořák’s “Symphony No. 8 in G Major” with the Stamford Symphony. She began to study cello in Colorado at age 4, and moved to Cleveland in high school to study at the Cleveland Institute of Music. The White House developed “It’s On Us” in 2014, and since then, colleges and universities have created campaigns and pledged to oppose behaviors that can lead to sexual assault.
