She worked for many years in secretarial positions and was a parishioner of St. Augustine's Church. She was married to the late Thomas Oswald. Matthew J. Fenton died May 5, 2006. The 24-year-old Little Ferry resident was fatally injured while conducting combat operations in Iraq. He is a symbol of hope and valor within the community, and the 5K run/walk is a small token of the community’s appreciation for him.
